Sound Quality: A
Good, loud but clean. Bass guitar is prominent in the mix, but is still sharp and not dominating.
Performance Quality: A
This sounds a lot like Blackpool, being just before it, and some songs (Going Down, Shoot You Down, She Bangs..) sound better than at Blackpool.

Why should I get this bootleg?
For the great performance, and all bassists out there wanting to learn Mani’s basslines – they are clear as day on this recording, more so than on TSR.

walsall ay we
i was there!!!
I was at this gig right down the front. It was really loud and sounded great. As they say in the west midlands…”bostin”.
I was at this gig front left didn’t appreciate how big they would become .. Justin walsall .
I was there too. I was 14 and it was my first ever gig. It was unbelievably good, only spoilt by some twat who kept putting his hand up my dress and I couldn’t do anything about it as I was too squashed to move out of the way. I’d like to think male gig behaviour has improved since those days.
Hello,
How may I acquire a copy of “http://www.thestoneroses.co.uk/bootlegs/guide/walsall-junction-89-aka-stoned-in-walsall” please? I was at this gig.
Thanks.
I’ve got a copy of this to sell if anyone interested?
