Sound Quality: C
A bit faint, but good sound mix, if a bit unstable. Sounds a bit sped up for some reason.
Performance Quality: B
Squire’s guitar seems to keep cutting out, and Reni’s vocals for once are not amazing, but he makes up for this with some great drumming. Apart from these slight niggles it’s another good TSR performance.
Why should I get this bootleg?
This is a very interesting bootleg. There are some very strange sounds coming from the stage, and halfway through the gig, a woman annoucer takes over the PA! Ian goes crazy with the crowd who do not respond at all, picking on one member of the audience “Go on, go home”. Later on he singles him out again, saying “I thought I told you to go home”, and the crowd starts laughing. Ian is joined in by Mani, who takes the mic to slag off the crowd, much to Ian’s amusement. Also worth hearing for the awful singing of the bootlegger during Shoot You Down and Sally Cinnamon, and for Reni’s funky drumming intro to IATR.
