This has been around for a little while but you may have missed it.
A long and interesting interview with Ian Brown where he talks extensively about The Stone Roses from their inception to their demise. The full uncut interview has been posted online by Clash magazine.

We find the Roses in belligerent form, yet the journo takes it well and is more than convinced by the Roses after seeing them nail it live. The article from Sounds March ’89 also features one of my all time favourite Roses photos that really captures the Roses’ gang mentality.
Time to lighten up with what I think is a Smash Hits fluff piece about the Roses – or is it “the new Johnny Hates Jazz!”.
Just added a magazine article from July 1990. A four page feature from Sky magazine which looked at the buzz around the Roses as they prepared to return with the much anticipated One Love single.
