The High

Found a new band photo from 1990 when I was searching through my old music clippings. From the front cover of Melody Maker September 29.

Here are several press clippings featuring The High.

First up is a single review from the NME in October 1990 where Take Your Time was awarded “Single of the Week”.

Many of The High’s releases featured cover artwork by Glenn Routledge. For the first time online, you can view a retrospective of the best examples.

Unfortunately I don’t know much about Glenn Routledge, but I would love to expand the detail on the section so please leave a comment if you can help out.

There’s now a fledgling image gallery available. I’ve trawled the net and there’s not much out there. I picked up a few from last.fm and fired up the scanner for a few more.

There’s a few more to be added and you can expect some high quality scans of all the artwork from the band’s records.

But beyond that I’ll need some help. If you have any photos of The High that you don’t see on the site then please leave a comment and help out.

You can now find a selection of promo videos on the site.  So far I’ve only been able to track down the Box Set Go promo video and a good selection of live tracks. A big thanks goes out to the original posters on YouTube.
