Sound Quality: A
Crisp and clean, though bass is slightly soft. Great stereo balance.

Performance Quality: D
Sounds unrehearsed – especially the older songs, with guitars and drums coming in at the wrong place. Ian sounds shite. Squire uses an 89-90 sounding guitar for the older songs and Ten Storey Love Song, which he doesn’t do on any other Second Coming gig I’ve got. Maddix is awful, but the acoustic set is superb. This was one of their first gigs in ’95.

Why should I get this bootleg?

This is the only Second Coming bootleg for those who don’t like Squire’s dominating guitar.

  1. Thats a bit harsh. Yeh they were early into the ’95 tour but it’s interesting to hear how Squire isn’t sure how distorted the guitar he’s gonna play the songs.
And i notice Ian’s voice is a lot smoother sounding, akin to the 1990 voice. Also, he wasn’t using stage monitors, he had his voice booming out of amp speakers behind him, so that didn’t help.
I’m sure it made sense to Ian at thdm time 🙂🎶🎶
