Sound Quality: B
Slight, but annoying fading in/out to start with, but this
doesn't last long. A very good mix that sounds clean by 89/90
recordings standards.
Performance Quality: B
Squire is good, and so are Mani and Reni for that matter.
Ian is fine too. At this time, the Roses were so laid back
in their playing they were horizontal. A funky performance,
but with a few too many mistakes to call it a classic. Hit-and-miss
- some songs are done brilliantly, some are very below-par.
Why should I get this bootleg?
It's has only just been uncovered by the bootleg market, and certain songs are done really well, especially IATR - well loud and mental.
Background
This warm-up gig to the classic Glasgow Green show was also played in the big tent that Glasgow was, as the Roses planned to take the tent on tour with them, but of course Glasgow turned out to be their last show for five years. Eyewitness reports said the Roses "went down a storm", despite the mistakes they were making.
