Sound Quality: B
One of the best quality recordings you are going to hear from
early '89 (bar the Hacienda). Only really distorts during
the rockier bits.
Performance Quality: A
A classic early '89 tour set played with real enthusiasm.
As well as the perfect Shoot You Down, Elephant Stone is played
as well as it is at Blackpool, and Resurrection is a very
dramatic climax.
Why should I get this bootleg?
It is the best bootleg from the early '89 tour and probably the first classic Roses gig for me. Ian's mic packs up sometimes, allowing you to hear Reni's brilliant vocals by themselves for short periods.
Fan Reviews
"Sound quality is great! The Roses played miraculously wonderful "Resurrection" in this gig. Miracle!! Miracle!!" - Takatoshi Nabeshima, Japan
"Quite nice. Vocals are close sounding. It's the only show I've got that really sounds like you're in the front row. A good live show." - George Chuddy, USA
"Where Angels Play is priceless, best live version I have heard yet. Resurrection sounds great. I'd say this was definitely a better performance than Hacienda, except the sound is a bit rough." - Elliot Chodowski, USA
Thanks to Will Odell for compiling the original bootleg guide.
